Refund, Exchange & Warranty Policy
DOCUMENT ID: CB-POL-REFUND-MASTER-V6.2 • GOVERNING ENTITY: CASEBOB SWEDEN (ORG: 790713-4931)1. Overview & Operational Philosophy
CASE·BOB designs and manufactures high-precision protective hardware accessories. We back our engineering with a voluntary extended 100-Day Return Window and an active 12-Month Hardware Warranty.
To eliminate customer frustration and maintain a seamless fulfillment lifecycle, our reverse logistics architecture prioritizes automated digital intake and expedited resolutions through your customer dashboard.
2. The 100-Day Extended Return Policy (Voluntary Guarantee)
Customers may request a voluntary return within 100 calendar days from the carrier-confirmed date of delivery.
- Pristine Hardware Requirement: All units must be returned in completely unblemished condition, housed within original packaging with all protective internal cushioning intact.
- Sealed Hygiene Exception: Tempered 9H glass screen shields and camera lens protectors are strictly non-returnable once the protective adhesive backing film has been peeled or compromised.
- Custom Hardware: Personalized or bespoke units manufactured to customer-supplied artwork or tailored specifications are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Outbound Shipping Fees: Original outbound delivery fees (including priority, courier, or express options) are strictly non-refundable. Tracked return shipping is the financial responsibility of the customer.
3. Digital Return Authorization Protocol (No Paper Forms)
To preserve supply chain traceability, physical paper return slips are never included in packaging. All claims must be registered through your digital account:
- Log in to your customer dashboard at casebob.com/account using your checkout email address (instant one-time login code).
- Locate the specific order and select "Request Return". Designate your reason: Refund, Model Exchange, or Defect Warranty.
- Our logistics desk reviews the submission within 1 business day. Upon verification, you will receive an approval email containing your Authorized Return ID (your Order Number) and regional routing instructions.
- Pack the item securely and dispatch via a reputable tracked courier service.
- Upload the active tracking identifier directly into your return ticket within the required dispatch window.
4. Strict 14-Day Logistics Dispatch Deadline
Once return instructions are generated, you have exactly 14 calendar days to surrender the parcel to the carrier and upload active tracking. If carrier tracking is not registered within this 14-day window, the return ticket will expire automatically and permanently.
5. Model & Size Exchanges (Wrong Device Model Ordered)
Device size mix-ups (e.g. ordering standard iPhone instead of Pro) happen frequently. CASE·BOB facilitates streamlined model exchanges directly through your digital account dashboard:
- Digital Registration: Select "Exchange for Different Model" in your account portal to initiate your exchange ticket.
- Fast-Track Review: Our logistics desk will review your request and issue expedited routing or replacement instructions to ensure you receive the correct hardware as quickly as possible.
- Standard Return Available: Customers may also return the original, unblemished item for a standard refund in accordance with Section 2.
6. Defective Hardware & Transit Damage (Photo-Verification)
If an item arrives damaged from transit or exhibits an evident manufacturing anomaly:
- You must notify CASE·BOB within 7 calendar days of delivery via your account dashboard or support desk.
- Submit clear, high-resolution photographs documenting the issue and the outer packaging.
- Authorized Remedy: Upon verification and approval by our quality desk, an identical replacement unit will be issued and dispatched immediately.
7. Parcels Marked "Delivered" & The 48-Hour Buffer Protocol
CASE·BOB assumes transit risk until the carrier registers the package as delivered. Once marked as "Delivered" via carrier tracking, delivery scan, or mailbox drop, carriage obligations are legally fulfilled.
Postal couriers frequently scan packages as "Delivered" prematurely while the delivery vehicle is still on its route or arriving at local parcel depots. In over 70% of reported instances, the parcel is physically placed into your mailbox or parcel locker within 24 to 48 hours following the electronic scan. Customers must allow this 48-hour buffer to elapse before escalating missing package claims.
If still missing after 48 hours:
- Verify that the shipping address provided at checkout was 100% complete and accurate (including apartment or suite number).
- Inspect surroundings (porch pillars, side entrances, concierge desk, or adjacent neighbors).
- Contact our support team with your order number. Our logistics desk will review carrier telemetries directly to provide a prompt resolution.
• Disclaimer: CASE·BOB is not liable for packages misdelivered due to customer address errors or stolen from residential properties post-delivery ("porch piracy").
8. Refused Deliveries & Uncollected Shipments
If a parcel is returned to our facility because delivery was refused, or because it was left uncollected at a postal depot past the carrier cutoff date, actual round-trip carrier return costs and a standard inventory restocking fee will be deducted from your final refund.
9. 12-Month Limited Hardware Warranty
All CASE·BOB structural cases include a 12-Month Limited Hardware Warranty valid from the original purchase date.
Structural core delamination (inner TPU separating from outer PC), abnormal graphic peeling during normal use, and detachment of integrated N52 Magnetic ring assemblies.
Cosmetic scratches and patina from daily pocket friction; natural UV oxidation and yellowing of clear TPU gel; drop and impact fractures (a cracked case has fulfilled its sacrifice function by absorbing kinetic impact shock away from the handheld phone).
Remedy: Approved claims receive a one-time identical replacement unit. Refunds are not issued for hardware warranty resolutions.
